I discovered Pilates over a decade ago and was immediately captivated by how it left me feeling invigorated rather than depleted. The mindfulness and focus required created an experience unlike any other fitness approach I'd tried. After years as a dedicated practitioner, I transformed my passion into a profession, completing my Comprehensive Certification with Peak Pilates, becoming a Discover*Move*Inspire Master Pilates Teacher and completing a mentorship with Wendy LeBlanc-Arbuckle’s “Passing the Torch” program. I firmly believe that "Pilates is for every Body". The same classical exercises work for everyone from elite athletes to complete beginners, with modifications tailored to individual needs. When I'm not in the studio, you'll find me traveling with my husband, connecting with my three adult children, or enjoying time with my two mini schnauzers.

I discovered Pilates in 2018 during my personal journey toward better physical and mental health. After my first reformer session, I was captivated by the practice's transformative power—it has given me confidence while strengthening not just my body, but enriching my mind and spirit as well. I completed my comprehensive certification through Peak Pilates in Austin, Texas, and specialize in all apparatus with additional expertise in Pre/Post-Natal Pilates. My guiding philosophy is "Trust the process," which applies to my Pilates practice, my recovery journey, and life's many challenges. When I'm not helping clients achieve their wellness goals, you'll find me hiking, lounging poolside, paddleboarding on the lake, or enjoying quality time with friends.

I found my way to Pilates in 2012 through curiosity and gym burnout, quickly becoming hooked on this versatile system that can be both gentle and extremely challenging. Though initially uncertain about teaching, I gained the confidence to start and discovered a true passion in helping clients leave their sessions feeling better and smiling. Fully certified through Peak Pilates and a graduate of their Discover Move Inspire masters program, I believe that "Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always." When I'm not teaching or exploring new Pilates variations, you'll find me snuggling with my dog, hunting for new plants at the nursery with tea in hand, or less often but most beloved, snorkeling and daydreaming of life as a mermaid chasing sea turtles beneath the waves.

I discovered Pilates six years ago while seeking relief from the neck, shoulder, and lower back pain that had developed during my nearly thirty year career in the dental field. With regular practice, I found exactly what I was looking for: core strength, increased flexibility, and improved posture. As my pain subsided and I stood taller with more energy, I became completely hooked on the practice! The transformative benefits inspired me to change my career path, and in my 50s, I became a Peak Pilates Certified Instructor. I firmly believe you're never too old to learn something new and that life is meant to be experienced and explored. When I'm not teaching, I'm raising two children with my husband, playing tennis and pickleball, skiing, traveling whenever possible, and heading to my happy place—the beach. I'm always eager to try new experiences, from art classes to aerial yoga!

I discovered Pilates after suffering chronic pain from a back and spine injury, finding that consistent practice taught me healthy movement patterns that reduced my pain and allowed me to return to an active lifestyle—proving my motto that "Movement Heals." With comprehensive certification in Peak Pilates and specialized training in neurological conditions and chronic pain, I understand the fear around beginning a movement practice after injury. When not teaching, I enjoy yoga, walking trails, volunteering with The Junior League of Austin, and spending quality time with my husband and two adult children at movies, concerts, and theater performances.
